Vintage from the 1920s
Crystal Small Decanter This appears to be EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass), probably turn of the 20th century. It glitters like it is made of diamonds when the light is behind it. Something I could not capture in my pictures. The shape is like a round bowl with an elongated neck. It holds less than a full bottle of wine. No stopper. Also could be used as a water or iced team carafe, or as a beautiful vase for a trio of roses or other small bouquet.
The glass is 3/16" thick at the top edge with an opening of 2" diameter. It is 19" in circumference (approx. 6 1/2" diameter) at the widest area, and sits solidly on a 5" diameter base. It stands 8.25” tall. The neck of the vase is smooth in between 8 vertical lines which have miniature saw teeth and a horizontal band of 3 lines each. There are alternating 4 cut stars and 4-5 point starbursts. Each design is separated with a solid nickel-sized solid circle. The base is a large starburst.
Very heavy
