A rose cut color-shifting blue/grey 3mm sapphire is hand-set, the prongs are blended in with a delicate milgrain border, reminiscent of textures found in French, antique jewelry. There are no flat table facets on top of the stone and there are no pavilion certain angles. So the while the color of the sapphire shifts from a deep muted denim-blue to grey, the rose gold of the setting also shows through.
